Plaid Love to Create Craft Prize Winner

I love to use several products from Plaid Online, including Folkart Paint, Mod Podge, Arteza Colored Pencils, and more. Recently, Plaid sent an email asking you to take a survey, and all entries were eligible for a craft prize. You guessed it, I won. Happy Crafting Day!

Thank you so much, Plaid, for the wonderful craft supplies. How did you know pastels are my favorite, and spring is right around the corner? How lovely, Martha Stewart Multi-Surface Glitter Acrylic Craft Paint.

I think the little shelf I recently picked up will look great in the yellow. 🙂

This post will be ongoing as I use the products and document crafting with them. I jumped right in with the Mod Podge to make journal cards from vintage bird book pages.

Mod Podge works great to secure the paper down, and when you add a second layer over the top of the page, it removes some of the gloss and seals it. Once they are dry, I cut them out, round the corners, and apply distress ink. I’ll post a picture when the project is complete.

One tip to keep in mind when you are finished using the product is to cover it with a plastic bag before you seal the cap on. This prevents it from sticking tightly, making it easy to reopen.

I love to use Mod Podge to make faux mulberry paper with dried flowers, too. I’ll have to write a post about the process someday; perhaps a picture will do for now.

Thanks again, Plaid, for the awesome prize. Check back for updates soon.
