Nature Themed Fairy Junk Journal

I love crafting with Stamperia’s nature-themed scrapbook paper. This nature-themed fairy junk journal was handcrafted using Stamperia’s Whispering Woods Collection 12 x 12 Paper Pad by Farrel Tailor. The forest imagery, featuring fall-colored trees, mushrooms, a beautiful wooded path with stunning flowers, and fairies and gnomes, is fantastic.

The hardest choice when you flip through the paper pad is choosing an image to put on the cover of the junk journal. I adored the fairy sitting on the toadstool or mushroom in the forest. The vibrant colors of green, brown, orange, and red bring life to the journal. Look at the little fairy sitting so calm and lovely on the mushroom. I love, love, love the artwork. It invites you into a world of forestry within the journal.

When you open the front cover, the fairy is walking down a wooded path lined with trees and white flowers. Inside the pocket is a large yellow, brown, and greenish tag made of watercolor paper, featuring watercolor paint and ink, stamped with images of ferns and leaves. The tag is decorated with ephemera from the paper pad. The paperclip pocket bookmark on the opposite page marks your spot in the journal.

As the fairy walks along the path through the woods, she spots a group of pumpkins with more tags and ephemera tucked into the pocket. She stops to write down a note on the back and continues on her way.

Next, she meets a gnome standing near a group of mushrooms in the middle of the forest. He says, “The Forest Calls,” and inside his pocket is a handmade tag crafted from a masterboard colored and stamped with various inks and decorated with ephemera from the paper pad. Note: I glued handmade mulberry paper on the backs of each decorated page.

As the fairy exits the woods, she has a large tag inside the pocket to write down memories of the adventure. I love creating junk journals from Stamperia’s nature-themed scrapbook paper. You can check out the collections available at Stamperia.com.
