The Artist Passion for Creativity

My passion for art flourished as a child in the Adirondack Mountains.

The lush forest beyond the trickling brook became a canvas for the curious mind. The forts, teepees, and lean-tos we built provided shelter from life’s storms.

With childhood innocence gone, the rugged terrain became a familiar path of travel. The continuous abuse and mistreatment developed a cynical worldview. Laying barren talents for creative work.

A faraway journey revived the sense of wonder, and cityscapes became a new canvas for artistic workmanship.

The City Missions and Soup Kitchens provided food, while the Salvation Army offered spiritual support and a sense of safety. Over time, risky habits and dysfunctional mindsets diminished, while eyes were opened to the truth and a heart for talents in human service.

God gives artists passion, talent, and wisdom, which can lead to amazing things when they trust and obey Him.

Your spirit comes alive in adoration of God’s grace and glory. You stop living in fear, lay down your burdens, and relish the freedom only Jesus Christ can give you.

You look around in awe at the glorious works of God—the colorful birds flying in the air, the lovely mountains standing in the distance. With the beautiful flowers planted in the ground, you notice His goodness wherever you go.

After all, you are His craftsmanship; the artist created in the creator’s image for his pleasure. You love to use your gifts to serve others and praise Him because He alone is worthy to be praised.
